Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • What devices does ZyncPOS support?
    ZyncPOS is designed specifically for iPad. We support iPad 7th generation and above with iPadOS 16 or later. For Kitchen Display System (KDS) and Web Dashboard, you can use any browser on any device.
  • Can ZyncPOS work offline?
    Yes, ZyncPOS can operate offline for transactions and order recording. Data will automatically sync to the cloud once the internet connection is restored.
  • What printers are compatible with ZyncPOS?
    ZyncPOS supports 80mm thermal printers connected via LAN (Ethernet). Recommended brands include Epson TM-T82, Epson TM-T20III, and other ESC/POS compatible printers.
  • How long is the free trial?
    You get a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial.
  • How do I add a new cashier or device?
    You can add new users (cashier, manager, etc.) through Settings > Multi User in the iPad app, or through the Web Dashboard. Each user gets a unique PIN with configurable access levels.
  • Is my data secure?
    Data security is our priority. Data is automatically backed up to the cloud, protected with encryption, and stored on secure servers. You can also set up scheduled backups as needed.
  • How do I set up QR Code Ordering?
    Enable QR Ordering in Settings, then print a unique QR code for each table. Customers simply scan the QR code to open the digital menu and order directly from their phone. Orders are sent automatically to the cashier.
  • What happens when my subscription ends?
    After your subscription ends, you can still access existing data and reports, but transaction features will be disabled. Your data remains safe and is not deleted. You can reactivate your subscription at any time.

Quick Start Guide

  • Initial setup: Download ZyncPOS from App Store → Login → Follow the setup wizard to add menus, tables, and printers.
  • Add products: Open Cashier menu → Tap "+" → Enter name, price, category → Save.
  • Printer connection: Make sure iPad and printer are on the same Wi-Fi/LAN network → Open Settings → Printer → Add printer.
  • Sales reports: Open Dashboard → Reports tab → Select period (daily/weekly/monthly).
  • Data backup: Data is backed up automatically. For manual backup: Settings → Backup → Backup Now.
